Tom was seen in a restaurant with Nell McCafferty recently, could be a done deal!![]()
I feel embarrassed as a City fan atm. Coughlan really seems like such an idealistic person, a GAA coach would never make the grade in soccer, too many formations, too much tactics and not enough shouting and throwing things, will TC see the Powerade ad and then sign the Munsterconnaught fella?
EDIT: Try to sign the Munsterconnaught fella, even ur man knows what a bad idea it is to sign for us at this stage
I'd never heard of this guy and assumed he was a local MSL manager or something. Wish he was.
A leading authority on League of Ireland football since 2003. You're probably wrong.
On the City website, they said that they have recieved over 15 applications for the job.
has santa been offered the job yet ? he's free most of the year and used to managing the elves?
Brian Kerr is the latest rumour, but Stuart Ashton is the most realistic name being mentioned

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
according to this anyway.

Its all Chinese whispers Martinho, i couldn't tell you really.
City really do have to take stock, sit back and knock the expectation on the head, its actually not helping our situation at the moment i think. Stuart Ashton should actually be a natural successor to the position. Aside from him having a brilliant record while at the club, people will always say he has no league of Ireland experience but if we needed to have a guy take the position from a selection of inexperienced managers then he'd be the best without doubt. Having him know a huge pool of players is an unbelievable bonus for him as well.
That said, it could be someone else tomorrow.
