Does Mr Coughlan own that hotel by any chance? His Mrs apparently owns the club shop property and massage parlour above or whatever it is...

So Cork City FC are on benefit and live out of a hotel.
    What of it?
I don't wish that on anyone.

I was hoping that news would never get out.
    The absolute shame of it.

I think is something that fizzles away and time forgets. Cobh Ramblers, the football club from the wrong side of the tracks !!
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

    Eh, no.

It's ridiculous like - the league is being held back by having two clubs from a place like Cobh. Get rid of one, or get them to merge or something, and give a spot in the league to a county with tradition, like Tipp or somewhere. All problems in the league solved.

theres one team in cobh and thats us, cork county is the second biggest county in ireland, and has the second largest population, so 2 teams are justified, if you consider theres 6 teams from dublin,(9 in the greater area), if the likes of tipp, clare our kerry had the interest or resources to enter a team in the LOI id say theyd be accpeted by the FAI, sadly there is no interest they are GAA hotspots youd nearly have to smuggle a socerball in,

the concepts of football is the best teams available, not the most geographical pleaseing

Much too my disgust, their league table hasn't been updated. A club still in denial?

But if we did take Cobh Ramblers under our wing and merge then we could use St Colemans as a handy little training ground. Cork City FCs Eastside Training Ground ..... has a nice ring to it. There'd be alot of pluses to it like
