Don't think anyone has gone over the top.
It was a dire game,
City played very poorly most of the time
and we know they can play a lot better.
I think people have gone a bit over the top with the criticism of the game last night. And the people who criticised George's performance are just out to get him. He was the most composed player on the pitch last night by a mile and the only reason he was dropping deep last night was because our midfield is so bad. Kevin Murray is not a midfielder in my opinion and the team are suffering because of it.
The game suffered because of the terrible conditions so we should cut them a bit of slack. Its easy to be critical when you have the comfort sitting in the stand out of the rain.

I don't think George played particularly well in either of the last two games, at Bohs in particular he was really slow to release the ball (apart from one daft quickly taken free kick). He had an off week, no big deal, even on an off day you can see the level of skill he possesses and he's one of the few we have that is capable of winning a game from nothing.
With a fit flynny back, and the understanding between them, both will see us right by the last day of the season (he semi confidently predicts).
Its true that there are one or two people with fairly idiotic opinions on george, but no-one listens to them anyway. We all know it was a tough game to play, but nevertheless george didn't have one of his better nights. No-one's crucifying him for it.
