Question about the "Remember me" function.

Apologies for starting a thread about such an insignificant issue, but I couldnt find an answer anywhere on the site. When I open the forums page, I always have to log in even though I always tick the "remember me" box right beside the log-in boxes.

I may have mistakenly told my firefox browser to "never remember (my password) for this site", but I don't think I did. How can I solve this tiny problem and save myself about 2 seconds of time?

The "never remember" box is for usernames and passwords, not remembering whether you're logged in or not. You need to check the cookie options.

Look in Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies (section) > Exceptions to see if Foot.ie is listed, and if so delete the entry. If not, in the same section click Show Cookies, enter Foot.ie in Search, and delete all of the cookies. Now see how you get on.

(You can check the "never remember" setting in Tools > Options > Passwords (section) > Exceptions.)

Yes, that seems to have worked. Thanks Mr. Hamster.
