Judge could've ruled that not only did Connor lose the 200k he was to be paid by Bohs, but also "robbed" of his chance to earn significant bonuses, and robed of any further jobs due to the allegations made by the Gerrys.

I'm not saying he would've got more, but 225 most certainly wasn't the max he could've got

I was just focussing on the UD side of the case, it wasn`t clear to me that a defamation claim was being heard at the same time. You could be right , I had given up on winning this case when they sacked him.

Dont agree with the Dodge very often - but he is bang on with his assessment of Fitzmaurice

Seems like Bohs would be better off signing lawyers next season instead of players. Might be some cost savings to be made.

Seems like Bohs need a few honest guys on their Board and rid the liars!!
In this day and age it's madness anybody can behave like that and expect to carry on as a director never mind get away with it in a court of law!!

Even getting some incompetent honest guys or competent liars to run Bohs would be a big step forward.

I would think the true figure of the settlement may never come out as there were probably confidentially clauses all over the place along with it.

Although having said thay it may have to be noted somewhere in the company accounts - but that would probably be 2010 before they are seen.

Is that what he's at nowadays? Interesting. I suppose he'd be wealthy enough to fund himself in these slow times.

Neil Horgan has signed for City next season but will be in Dublin the following year doing his Kings Inn thingy. Maybe they can wait.

Horgan is training to be a solicitor, he doesn't have to leave Cork as the Law Society have opened a college down there in the last year or two. He might still be able to play part time.

Mulconroy for Cobh Ramblers is a lawyer as well afaik
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
