Delighted for her. I must remember to get the Bray People this week.
Check out my new sports blog http://www.action81.com
Absolutely delighted for her, she has put so much effort over the past number of years so she fully deserves it ! At times she didn't even have a place to bloody train !
Her dad, Pete Taylor, is an ex english middle weight champion, has do an absolutely brilliant job with her and the rest of the young lads and girls to train up in St. Fergals boxing club.
I just really hope the government/bray town council give them the welcome home they deserve.
Not a bad looking bird. Wonder what she looks like this morning.![]()
Fair play all the same.
I'm sure they will, otherwise, that would be nothing short of shameful.I just really hope the government/bray town council give them the welcome home they deserve.
Here's a small clip about her from RTE. Scroll down to watch video.

Did you ever notice that in every painting of Adam & Eve, they have belly buttons. Think about that...take as long as you want.
Not only is she a world boxing champion but was she not the Irish womens soccer u.19 player of the year recently? Heard part of an interview with her on radio last week. Fair play.
She did not win U-19 POY this year, but she did make her debut for the Womens Senior Team this year. She won the Player of the Match award in the game against Switzerland earlier this year.
She plays for Peamount United and played for them in last years Womens FAI Cup Final.
Honest! I am not a secret Tim nor a closet Sham - I really am a Seagull.
I actually meant to add that to my post earlier, yeah she is also an Irish international footballer, he has played at all levels for Ireland. Arsenal offered her a pro contract with there ladies side going back about 2 years ago.
This deserves a bump seeing as she has retained her title and won boxer of the tournament. One of Ireland's greatest sports people at the moment I think;
