I read in the paper that Teilifís a Ceathair were talking to the FAI about showing Eircom League games, but the FAI leaked the details of the negociations to the press (it was in the indo). TG4 apparently were a bit put out by this and backed out of the deal. Does anyone know any more about that?

I heard that the FAI suggested that Tee Jee Four cover games involving Finn Harps, Galway, Sligo etc. Tee Jee Four were a bit miffed at the suggestion that they're just a local channel for the wesht, and pulled the plug.
