    Drogs aim for breathing space

    Fresh from their first victory of Paul Doolin’s reign on Friday night, Drogheda United go into tonight’s meeting with FAI Carlsberg Cup runners-up St Patrick’s Athletic at Richmond Park knowing that another win would see them open up a four-point gap on relegation rivals Derry City.

    Drogheda are currently a point ahead of Derry with the same number of games played following the latter’s 3-1 defeat to Bohemians at Dalymount Park on Tuesday night.
