Derry count cost of Licence
Derry City football club made the shocking revelation that they must spent £600,000 on work to be carried out at the Brandywell in order for the Candystripes to meet Uefa Standards.
The Premier Division are sure to struggle to meet the requirements just like their fellow 21 eircom League members to raise the funds necessary for the essential works.

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
Seems a bit much. Surely a fence would be enough?Derry must find a way of raising almost £400,000 before the start of the new season with the reconstruction of the boundary wall around the ground scheduled to cost £250,000.
Still find it hard to believe they spent 600k on the Brandywell.
