Sligo Rovers recorded a controversial 2-1 victory over ten-man Kilkenny City at Buckley Park on Saturday night.
Dublin referee Neil Doyle was forced to send off City ‘keeper David O’Neill for deliberately handling outside the area after only TWO minutes. Ian Rossitter gave the visiting side the lead with a terrific 38th minute screamer from almost 40 yards and the eleven men took a 1-0 advantage into the break.
