    Reckonings for Canada Squad

Presuming that Kerr will name a 24 man squad, who do you reckon will be in or out.

    Given
    Colgan
Murphy (I think Paddy Kenny is injured at the moment)
    Carr
    Finnan
    Cunningham
    Breen
    O'Shea
    O'Brien
    Harte
    Steven Reid (Just about)
    Delap
    Miller
    Holland
    Healy
    Kavanagh
    McPhail
    Kilbane
    Duff
    Andy Reid
    Keane
    Morrison
    Connolly
    Doherty

    My ommissions:
Mark Kinsella - let's move towards the future
Lee Carsley - no explanation necessary
Sean Thornton - not yet - but he's injured anyway
Alan Quinn - have chosen McPhail just ahead of him
Barrett - was tempted to include ahead of either Morrison or Doherty but not sure if he's ready/good enough
    Dunne - misses out
    Effenberg played like my grandmother!

I wouldn't be surprised if Kerr named a big squad i.e. 30 players.
It will be useful to draw a line under the last campaign and start to build for the next one.

    I'd pick

    Given
    Colgan
Murphy - If Kenny is indeed injured
    Finnan
    O'Shea
    Carr
    Cunningham
    Thompson
    O'Brien
    Breen
    Duff
    Andy Reid
    Steven Reid
    Quinn
    Miller
    Healy
    Delap
    Kavanagh
    O'Connor
    Holland
    Keane
    Morrison
    Connolly
    Lee
Barrett/Doyle - Maybe, just to make up the numbers.

    My omissions

McPhail - In no way, shape or form within píssing distance of being good enough. Woefully over rated.

Carsley - I don't dislike him as much as some on here and was looking to include him, but we've alot of options in central mid field and I had too many people ahead of him.

Kilbane - Not good enough to be in ahead of Reid or Duff

    Kinsella - Time to retire

Sean Thornton - Not ready yet. Also over rated but could be good, later.

Dunne - Not until he regains his City place

Doherty - Not international class as a forward anyway, possibley a centre half role if he maintains his Spurs place but not yet.

Harte - I'd rather call up my local sunday leagues sub left back.

If there's anyone else I've just plain forgotten them

Would almost totally agree with Slash/Ed selection.

    McFail is crap

Though I would include Kilbane for pure effort (not skill) alone.

Any relation to Graham, I wonder?
Maybe you should put her on a leash, agent-man.
