Lucozade
No named sponsor
Sweet Fanny Adams for the First Division.
Overall, not great.
Lucozade
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.
Capital funding for the Premier for the next six years; nothing for the First Division. Probably at the request of the sponsor (which I assume is Lucozade), but the league can't advance properly if the First Division gets continually ignored. Especially as there's going to be a few former big clubs in there soon.
Woo hoo, new dug outs for the Premier Division teams over six years. That'll be marvellous. I suppose they get another extra few cases of free Lucozade Sport as well?.

Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
Agree realise that both divisions have to improve and obvious to focus on premier first but the FAI cannot let the gap between premier and first get to big otherwise teams who get promoted will have very little chance of staying up and teams that come down will go back up to easily
And Miles To Go Before We Sleep
John Delaney really shouldn't be allowed continue.
Fran Gavin runs the league
Any connection to MNS' refusal to carry any Division 1 football this season is purely coincidental.
This is hardly a replacement for eircom though? Still room for a main sponsor.
All I can see they're oing is buying ad space and lobbing out more drinks to all clubs, and putting in dugouts for the premier sides.

F.A.I don't care too much for 1st division teams. Once they have the top teams from Dublin, Cork City, Derry City and a team from the west they will be happy.![]()
Don't get overly excited.
When they refers to capital funding, they are talking about new dug-outs for goodness sake. Have First Division clubs not already got dug-outs?
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
The Bowl got new dug outs last winter so we'll be OK.
Exactly what the league has been crying out for over the years, new dugouts. I tried to convince a couple of barstoolers to come to a match recently. They said, "are you mad, have you seen the state of the dugouts in League of Ireland"
...very funny Seand.......a bot of a joke this "sponsoship"....Delaney clutching at straws methinks!!
