his 2nd was a great strike. he has played better than sean wright philips and robinho in this game so far. pity he doesnt have the sameinternational aspirations as his 2 city team mates
On here, some Irish interest, also Stephen Ireland score - defensive mess.
Just scored another, a cracker as I type.
Pretty good anyway, well placed chip/shot.

So that a potential hatrick for Ireland, infact I think he was wearing a hat/cap in a recent interview.

if it wasnt for birds and booze id have played for ireland juniors!!!!!
Got Man of The Match, second goal was very accomplished.
Said in the paper this morning that he's a happier chap since
he started shaving his head, nobody slagging him about his
plugs anymore. Fair play to the crazy fella.
Fair play to him, good performance but of no relevance to Ireland or the Ireland section of this forum unless he decides to change his status.
Paul McShane was also playing.
Come on TC, it's just an excuse for you to open another S.Ireland thread after our little discussion earlier. 2 Irish players played in a premiership match. There was 3 Irish players playing in the Newcastle match yesterday, 3 in the Man Utd match, 2 in the Blackburn match, 2 in the Liverpool match.
I've no rule book about what threads I merge, what I lock, etc. I just do what I want and it's not often I have to do anything. I'm certainly not anti-Stephen Ireland but I'm going to be strict on threads opening up about him while he's retired or whatever he is. All small discussion about him can go here:

Goals, form, injuries to S.Ireland are only small discussion in relation to the Irish national team.
Thread locked.
