No youtube for this one but it's a quality (if disturbing) Ray Winstone movie

    Warzone

An alienated 15 year old (Freddie Cunliffe), forced to move away from his friends in London when his family relocates to rural Devon, struggles with the change and becomes an observer of the family. His mother (Tilda Swinton) is pregnant, his dad (Ray Winstone) is vocally abusive, and his 18 year old sister (Lara Belmont) is sexually active and open to her brother. However, the boy guesses at and finds that he is correct that his father has had sexual relations with his sister. The boy gets a sexual education from an older woman (Aisling O'Sullivan) he meets.

Also a great short (posted in full here)starring Ray Winstone

Two Danny Boyle movies that aren't Trainspotting

    28 Days Later

    Shallow Grave

To avoid spoiling the movie this plot summary is very brief. It starts when three people living together in a four bedroom flat are looking for a house mate. The interviews they conduct are very unorthodox and very funny. Eventually the three agree on one prospective tenant. He moves in, locks his door, and is not seen again. After a couple of days the three become curious and break in to his room. What follows is an amazing piece of cinema and to say more would ruin it.

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Yeah I loved it. It's different from Meadows usual cause there's no real dark turn, but it's a nice way to spend an hour and a half

also could talk about his boxing move 24 7 - with the excellent Bob Hoskins in it. Better than Raging Bull IMHO - but then i am obsessed about Meadows

fantastic choices there Jebus. Meadows has to be up there with the top british writer/directors.

ill add in another meadows film - Paddy Considine is just brilliant in it. Seriously underrated actor.

I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.

Yeah a big Meadows fan m too. Was reading somewhere recently that he is planning to do a TV series follow up to This is England. Meant to a be based four years after the film (1986) as Shaun is leaving school.
