    Player of the Year?

Going on consistent performances over the whole season I would have to say Paul Danagher.

Some of the new lads signed in June/July have been fantastic but it would be unfair on the players who were in the squad all season to say one of them.

Who is your player of the year?

    Any chance of a poll?

    Foot.ie!

Between Danagher and Barrett for me.

I'd have to go with Barrett.

Danno for me, Wayne, Davey Ryan (lil) also having a good year, Tommy? solid.

However if there was another month or 2 left in the season then you couldnt look past Gary or Jason.

    Thumbs up

i would nominate gary sheehan simply because our improvement directly co-incided with his introduction to the team.if there was a league table from his first game to the end of season i believe we would be well on top.paul danagher gets second for his consistancy and goals

Tommy Barrett gets my vote, by virtue of being Tommy Barrett and will continue to do so until such time as he retires

    Player of the year poll.

Merged with earlier thread. Voting for Wayne.
The ball is round and has many surprises.

Tough choice really but anytime I've seen Wayne on the ball this year I felt like he was about to do something clever, necessary or impressive and he usually did.

has to be gary sheehan,we didn;t look like a team that could score regulary untill gary came into the team and since then we are scoring for fun.His performances against the bigger sides, namely dundalk shels and waterford were somthing special.
