    0-0 HT.

Could go either way by all accounts. We should've had a penalty too apparently.

Looks like we could even afford to let Drogheda have their 10 points back now

Great Result. I for one now regret not making the long haul, but sure thats life. Roll on Bray now and hope we pack the showgrounds for this one.
    Oh and up the Bohs!

Good result last night could have won near the end, roll on Bray is right and let us hope they put out a full strength team. Rossiter, Burns, Murphy and Singh do us a favour lads.

Absolutely dreadful conditions, lashed from start to finish.
Was impressed by Sligo, good side, playing with confidence, that Coleman lad is superb, number 10 looked decent up front apart from a touch of small man syndrome.
We probably had the better of it overall but with Behan up front we could still be there looking for a goal, Sligo had an excellent chance at the death but a draw was probably a fair result.
Scottish ref did well in the conditions.

I doubt the Rovers back four have played better this season. Cork never really threatened from open play, only from frees and corner kicks. Referee was cat and hadnt a clue. If a Cork player had gone down in the box at all he would given a penalty. Better team overall and has the second half went on, looked like they might snatch it. Great chance for Cretaro at the end.

    Great trip.Kinlay house

Could have nicked it at the end all right. Cork had the possesion but couldn't break us down. At least there's something to play for next week and there should be a big crowd.

Kearney went down in the box once in either half.

His own team mates didnt even appeal for a peno.

Seamie's fall was ah...let us say, a coming together that was rightly not given as a penalty.

Having said that the second one looked a defo penalty through the torrential rain, will watch again carefully tonight on MNS.

Good point though and great to see the lads come over and celebrate and thank the supporters at the end.

Also nice touch by the Rebel Army giving Rovers a standing ovation off the pitch at the end of the game.

They waited until after the team had thanked the Rovers fans and then applauded them and the Rovers players acknowledged them in return.

As Van Morrisson sang in his song Coney Island....wouldn't it be great if it was like this all the time.

Some Cork fans on their forum giving out that this is happening the whole time and that it's stupid.
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.

Also a little disrespectful to Rovers to be fair , like we are some plucky minnows who gave their giants a hell of a game
