He's rated at 69 for Reading in the new FIFA game. He just turned 24 last week. Shane Long is rated at 70, Noel Hunt at 74 and Kevin Doyle himself at 76! Any chance he gets anywhere near the Ireland team?

More importantly, is he near the Reading starting XI?

I remember on FIFA '95 on the MegaDrive, Ireland had two players called D. Jones and K. McGuire, who could dribble past entire teams and score goals from the half-way line. Wonder why Charlton never called them up?!

Is S. Ireland included in the Ireland squad and has he improved on his rating of 72 from last year?

Has anyone also noticed in the new FIFA game a Finn Harps player is the most valuable player in the league . Hopefully Mooney will get his chance in the Reading senior team, while Pat McCourt seems to be getting on good at Celtic. He seems to make the bencha good bit.
    Coleman for Ireland

McCourt plays for the north so I don't much care how he gets on. Great for them if he breaks into the Celtic first team but I couldn't care less.

Assuming this is Paddy McCourt you are talking about :0

I made myself on FIFA and am now at level 6575863 rating.

I should be called up by this stage. Typical Ireland attitude

Ya,we could do with more fancy wingers who sit on the bench for Celtic.

Out of the Irish strikers, Mooney is probably 4th choice in Reading. That would probably make him about 20th choice striker overall for Ireland.

Barring some sort of outbreak of plague, I can't see him ever getting a call-up, let alone a cap.

"Ever" seems a bit extreme, but I agree that for the near future he's not in the reckoning.

wouldnt write him off that quick. If Doyle moves on in Jan he will move up the pecking order and if he starts getting scoring a few goals he could def get a call up, but realistically cant see him making the squad in this qualifying campaign

That's probably why he was bought, except they expected Doyle to go in August.

McGeady is the top rated LWM in the entire game! Better rating than Nani!
