Unreal game. We have now scored 11 goals in last 3 games! Our defence has been pretty solid all season but now we are begining to score too. Watch out Sporting!

It was Barry Slattery that scored the first goal, amazing game though, had everything in it not sure about either of the penalties and definately not a red card (which can't be apealed as it was two yellows). Time to prepare for Mervue I suppose unless Athlone have played unregistered players when they beat us 3-0 and that result gets turned around

Nice to have our own wee thread though don't see that happen much

Yeah was told that afterwards that it was slattery, sorry bout that! Was my mini me that was doing the reporting at that stage though in my defence!

What's the feeling about dropping to the "A" Championship in Kildare, Christo. Does the club have a contingency plan? Would it make much material difference other than a couple of players leaving?

Not sure if the club does have any plans, we have very few players left that aren't amatuer so they would leave but that wouldn't matter too much.

But ever the optimist I don't think that Mervue will beat us in the play-off, Cousins has improved the team since he moved in...hopefully anyway
