Dan Murray and Neal Horgan signed new contracts with City
Actually Jim Magilton has said that Billy clarke does not feature in his plans, his loan is up at xmas for darlington and his contract is up at end of season at Ipswich so chances are that he could end up back here!Billy Clarke as in the Ipswich player on loan at Darlington? More chance of Kilkenny City returning to the First Division than him coming back to Ireland
Neale Fenn (Bohemians) and Davin O'Neill (Cobh) to Cork City.
Kevin Murray (CObh) supposed to be on his way to City too
How are Cork signing all these players? Are they actually going to be allowed play Premier football next season? Disgrace.
Lets redefine what it means to heal
Current players have taken pay cuts(large ones) and we only have 7 players under contract at the moment.
Its certainly not a sugar daddy pumping money in. Money in =money out
If the deadline is in fact 31st of january(the rule confuses me) then I dont see why not.
we apparently have contacted all players about the payments they are owed.
How so?
It has been fairly well reported that the deadline was November 30th, Cork can claim they weren't aware all they want, but theres not a hope that this is true. If a decent proportion of fans know this, then theres no excuse for the head of a board not knowing it.
And it'd be a disgrace, because there are no point in having such rules if they aren't going to be implemented.
Ps. Sorry for going off-topic.
Lets redefine what it means to heal
It's not Nov 30th, read the rule book. If debts are cleared or agreed by Jan 31st, then club meets the licensing criteria. Fact.
How much do CCFC owe in wages?
License agreement rule states, quote: "The licence applicant must prove that... it has no payables overdue towards employees or Revenue/social/tax authorities as at November 30 of the year preceding the season to be licensed unless by the following January 31 they have been fully settled, deferred by mutual agreement with the creditor or are subject to a not obviously unsound dispute submitted to a competent authority."
I just wish people would read the rules themselves before assuming they know what they're on about.
Gints Freimanis also on his way to Cork City

Gints looks like a quality player from that clip. The new Fahey?
We didn't get him registered by the end of the window so he just trained with us and played a few friendlies. Good player but I wouldnt say he'll be the new Fahey!.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
