Flynn also admitted that Dundalk were still interested in signing defender Mickey Collins.
"Dundalk want to sign Mickey, and if they meet our valuation then the player could end up going there," added Flynn.

Report in todays Irish Independant says Dundalk are close to signing Kodozovic, Hughes and Burns!!
Think his fundrasing days are finished with cobh!!.What part of the country do you hail from?.
Top scorer last year. With three. Including two in the first two games. Was dropped later on in the year as we tried changing our team about almost every week to see if we had any good combination of players. He's nippy, but he's a forward rather than a striker (will set up more than he'll score).

DUNDALK manager Sean Connor is edging closer to signing former Bohemians defender Liam Burns and ex-Drogheda United players Fahrudin Kuduzovic and Adam Hughes, all three of whom played for Connor at Sligo Rovers.
Burns, one of the league's top defenders last season, has turned down the offer of a new contract with Bohemians on reduced terms, while Hughes is set to opt for Oriel Park rather than link up with former boss Paul Doolin at Cork City.

Apparently we had a bid for Sean Ward turned down by Glentoran.

Have you ever won the treble?
Sean Friars linked with a move from Newry to Harps (on loan) according to the BBC.
Assuming Connor doesn't implode half way through the season (possible) Dundalk can consider themselves challengers for Europe I reckon if they complete those signings. Though with Connor at the reins, anything could happen.
Well, one thing I think should be remembered, was that when Singh, Mansaram, Burns, Faz and Hughes all played together with Rovers, we still ended as just mid table...The argument could be made that they are mid-table players.
Only Burns can really be exempt from that claim...
Don't get your hopes up Dundalk...
Exactly sure we dont even know if who will be in this league in a months time...Bohs are in dissaray at the moment...Cork who knows, then theres Derry, and we must see what kind of squad Kenna assembles at Pats and Sligo will have Europe and Setanta next season so they might need a bigger squad...a few injuries and they may be down to the bare bones...Personally I'd love to see us finish in the top 5 but realistically id say mid table...ie 6th or 7th is what we will get!
If Burns turned down a 30% paycut to sign for Dundalk, can we assume his pay is at least what he was on at Bohs - 30%? Can't see Faz or Hughes coming cheap either. Turner was on big money when he was at Bohs - Connor gave him that contract too.
I know times have changed, and Turner won't see the kind of money he was on at Bohs again in a hurry, but these guys are mobile and will go where they will get paid, therefore I wouldn't assume that Dundalk are getting them too cheaply.
They wont come cheaply but at the end of the day will Gerry Matthews(the owner) let Sean Connor spend beyond his means...i mean htta at the end of the day, if anything where to go wrong, the blame all falss back on GM's shoulders and hes a local business man so you can imagine, bad publicity could go against his business, which is already struggling as he is in the construction business!
So i would imagine he will be keeping a close eye on events as they unravel.
Also im almsot sure in one of Sean Connors press conferences to dat he said that GM had to approve the contracts that he was handing out..i think it was around the David Cassidy saga!!
