Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
you must be kidding!
great winger in his day (scored one hell of a free kick againt Newcastle in the FA cup at the Valley but Alan Shearer scored one as well and it went to a replay)
has done a decent job as a coach at Charlton for the past few years, I'd be delighted to see him in the LOI - as I'm also a Charlton fan
he wouldnt be the first ex Charlton player to manage in the LOI either, Mick Flanagan, ex Waterford was a Valley favourite as well
Word is on orielweb.com that Sean Connor was in oriel last night being showed around and even took time to watch a game on the pitch last night!!
They said on OrielWeb that he was there for his 2nd interview but why would they hold the interview in Oriel Park? They would surly have the interviews far away from Oriel/Dundalk so me thinks that someone saw someone who looked like Connor.
Would Connor not be showed around (even though there isnt much to see) after the press release?
Children in the dark cause accidents.
Accidents in the dark cause children.
Seen him a couple of times with LTFC and he looked decent enough. Hard to always tell with friendlies. He's still living in Longford and a friend of mine saw him out running so I'd say he's in decent shape. He's been playing for the local Sports Centre in a recent corporate 11-a-side league where's he was top scorer! He should make a good option for ye on the right wing.
Shane Robinson from Drogs is currently in negotiations with us.
That'd be a good signing for Cork. Quite a strong squad being assembled slowly but surely.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
How is that going to work...is robinson not based in Drogheda??
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.
Peter Hynes has signed for Shels![]()
You say that with a smiley?!
Not happy with that to be fair. Although hynes didnt score enough goals, he did contribute overall.
But the rumor is Robbie Doyle is to follow. I hope this goes through, would much prefer to shout abuse at him when he is at another team than when he is at mine. The two of them didnt play much football for the last five or so games. They where obviously kept away from potentially injuring themselves before we let them go.
