Bohs have signed Shelley supposedly...and the crazy wages hasn't stopped either from what I heard. This is the rumours thread though, nothing concrete before Bohs fans come on giving out.
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.

Apparently they're taking their case to the Supreme Court. Now how they're going to fund that is anyone's guess.

Not too expensive, 150 k or so , the profit from the cup final more or less. Given the amount ultimately at stake, its certainly worth a go. Am very much in the minority in Dalymount on this but strategically appealing puts us in a much stronger position.

If it goes to trial in the Supreme Court I can't see it costing only 150k and if you lose which has to be a possibility you're even more screwed. Then there's the fact that it could be two or three years dragging on, whilst Bohs have debts to pay and no money coming from any deal. I don't see how it makes your position any stronger?.

I'd say it's a probability more than a possibility, given how damning the judge's report appears to have been.

But I'm not sure they have much of a choice either.

Haven't read much of the report but the bits I have read on various forums don't show Bohs directors in a good light alright.

They're welcome to him. In reference to earlier post about Stephen kenny being new Rovers manager, local paper here said quotes someone at Rovers saying the club are still interviewing for manager's job this week

I'm sure something I stepped in the other day told me the Shams post had been filled.

Even if they don't win, this might be useful as a delaying tactic to give them time to get money to cover potential repayments to Liam Carroll.
We're not arrogant, we're just better.

If it goes to trial, thankfully it will be on points of law rather than the credibility of an allegedly inebriated Director. We certainly have a better chance to win the appeal on the "dry" legal points than we had to win the High Court case

If you don't know who the Rovers manager is then to say the above means you must known where he WILL be next season - care to enlighten us?

The job at rovers has been reduced to 3 candidates and I would say Kenna is not one of them. As I have said already on here, Kenna will not be going to another Irish team. It all depends on offers from England.

The High Court decision was on points of law too, not on how drunk the directors were. The condemnation of them seems only to emphasise how little legal ground youz had, which will presumably be the case in the Supreme Court as well.

    And a bit surprising tbh.

From what I hear its a substantial paycut, and he's certainly one player who could get a deal elsewhere.

Sounds from the squad are that they all want to stay and are willing to take the hit to do so(though some have little choice).

In fairness to Mathews he led the way in this taking a voluntary paycut himself.

Neither Joe or Mathews had to do this and could have forced us to pay them what we agreed to
