I'd imagine that'd get them out of it alright. The contract would only take effect from January or whatever. In Mooney's case he wasn't 24 until the following October I think.

Aarons an exellent keeper and I really cant believe that Athlone have been playing McGuinness ahead of him. Can any Athlone fans shed some light on this, is he still with ye?

Done deal now, Seamus Sharkey, great signing I have been a fan of this lad for a while now. Really surprised he has not played more games for Derry first team. He had an outstanding game tonight marking Jon Stead of Ipswich.
