help! how do you get rid of these texts? I thought i had done it from a programme but no and the latest is that John(sic) Kearney has been called into the under 20s! Id be rally garateful if someone could help out.

hahhhahah....i subscribed to that..lasted 3 days....had bloody 4 texts a day will some non-city related news......complete sham at 30c a message too........

think something like UNSUB CCFC or something like that...can't remember now..but i do hear your pain......

At least they've stopped the GAA updates. I have them but I'm gettin mightily sick of hearing about Fran Rooney and the feckin FAI.

They are a complete nightmare. there was a bit written in the programme about them too, Linda Lewis saying sorry to anyone who got caught for it.

There is a number to ring aswell somewhere. A dub voice on the voice message saying "We'll get back ta ya ... deadly buzz wez fleesin' ya" or words to that effect.

Is there anyway we can track these people down ??

Anyone got any ideas ??

thanks for that tried UNSUB CCFC nd got text saying it failed cos im not subscribed to list CCFC? I think thats what I tried b4 **** I cant get out of it theyve held me to ransom!

If you had it on the old style it could be UNSUB CORK to 53131.

Try ringing this number. 01 868 8799 ..... you will probably get an answering service but i suggest letting them know how you feel !!

The code to unsubscribe is UNS CORK5 if you signed up from the IrishMirror , UNS CORK3 if you signed up from TV3 and so on. If you can figure out the code you sent when you subscribed and prefix that code with "UNS" then you should be ok.
I had a similar problem with the Drogs textie thingy and ended up having to get onto a company called Black Cat Promotions - these are the people running this "service" - good luck!

Have eventually got rid of it tried phoning answering service left message no contact tried all the options above and retried. UNSUB on its own worked and am now free. Cant remember from where I subscribed so cant help anyone with that. Thanks again to all who helped and I wont have 8 texts a match while sitting at the very same match. Whoever they are theyre chancers.
