Just thinking there, before the merger with the FAI, the League had their own rule book and some rules were different than that of the FAI rulebook - mainly because the League rule book was effectively written by the clubs. Does anyone know if the League rulebook still differs from the FAI one, or does anyone have a copy of the participation agreement that all club signed - this had a list of the rules in it.

We are the Galway Boys Stand up and make some noise"
TBH, as long as Shels are ****ed over by a registration fiasco, thats all that matters to me

What a bitter pathetic comment Dodge, seriously. I am a passionate Shels supporter and am well-aware of the history between the two clubs but this type of attitude is beyond comprehension. To think I wanted Pats to get through against Berlin...more fool me. Shocking attitude to take.

It's not, but to hope we get screwed over by a registration fiasco is really pathetic. I'm all for rivalry, it's an essential part of the game...but would never want a team to win or lose anything "off the pitch"...no matter how much I disliked them. How you can still hate us so much after all this time? Let it go ffs![]()
We should be awarded all three points.
Athlone were found to have broken the rules and should be punished.
FIX!!!!!!!!!
Also, the very fact that Waherfurrrrrrr couldn't get three points against that shocker of a football team is symptomatic of why they wont go up either way.![]()

Yes, but not other clubs. We are fixated with the clubs involved in this particular case. The principle is wrong, end of. Any club could fall foul of this unfair rule. I'd like to think that those that are supporting the fai now will do so in future because be of no doubt it will come up again and again and again .
It's not unfair. Athlone broke the rules so Waterford were awarded the game. If Athlone had not fielded the player maybe they would not have got the draw. It's a standard punishment and to me makes more sense than the previous one.

There is quite a simple solution to all this - promote Waterford AND Dundalk, and nobodies fingers will get burnt...
That question was less stupid, though you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.
Help me, Arthur Murphy, you're my only hope!
