I hope there's no Chasing Cars - Part II on it. that song is still mucking around the UK Top 75 singles and even beating Frank Sinatra's record for consectutive weeks on the chart. Im sure they're as sick of it as we are.
Just got it there, not too sure what to make it yet to be honest, Sounds really "produced" if there such a thing, lots of Gimicky sounds thrown into songs, trying to capture a mix of Kings of Leon and their own sound. But there's also a few songs worth the mention, not as Anthemic as Eyes Open or Final Straw I'd say.
I'll post up again once I've listen to the album a few times over.

'Fascists dress in black and go round telling people what to do, where as priests.....'
Don't know what to make of this album yet. There's definetly 4/5 really good tracks on it.I'll have to listen to it a few more times i think.
Goin to see them live on sunday in the Gate Theatre in Dublin. It will be good to hear the new songs live.
Their last couple of records have been a bit over produced anyway compared to their early stuff. They made a very conscious effort to cross over to the mainstream and I can't think of one band who were ever able to halt that process once it had been started. They still write some good stuff but my interest has progressively waned as they've moved ever closer to the middle of the road.
The ball is round and has many surprises.
This album has really grown on me over the last few days.I'd rate it better than the last album "Eyes Open"
I saw them live yesterday in the Gate Theatre, the new songs sound even better live.
Here's a couple of video's i took from the show.
