great pics lads. The trap in the middle and keane doing the volley are perfectly timed. it looks like keane is hitting duff with the back of the hand there.

That pic with Trap in the middle is qualirty, well done!

I usually shoot Eircom League and Junior football, never shot an international and the difference in the speed is amazing, never noticed it before!

Keane must have been miles offside for that photo or I can't understand the reaction of both players (Keane almost smliing, the Cypriot ignoring the play).

I would say the ball is going out for a throw. Most likely as that is the byline.
    In Trap we trust

I don't know how anybody can take a photo in the seconds after Ireland score a goal.

ya geysir i know what you mean your focus is on the excitement of a goal and you cant take the time to actually think in the adulation.

It reminds me of a guy who came 10 minutes late for an Ireland match in landsdowne about 5 years or so ago, and all he did was take photos, no interest in the game, couldnt understand it.

I'm just referring to the dilemma of witnessing Duff do his magic in the box, the lovely dink, and Keanes finish, would test the professional resolve of a photographer who is also a diehard fan of the team.

It did, that's why I've none of the goal itself. Snapper beside me jumped in fear when I roared as Keane headed home.

dodgy & soccerc, great pics. Silly question but are you guys part of the press photographers corps on the field or fans in the stands?
"Jacques Santini...will be greeted in every dugout of the country by "one-nil, one-nil" - Clive Tyldsley, 89th minute of France-England June 13, 2004.
"Ooooohhhh Nooooooo" Bobby Robson 91st minute.
