    St Pats vs Cork City

0-0 coming up to half time.

Cork have a good record there and St Pats have nothing to play for.

However, Cork may have celebrated winning the Setanta Cup and have a poor manager and tactics etc.

Hope Cork win, would prefer to see Cork in Europe over Sligo even with Mattews record in Europe which is dire because he is a dire manager in general

Cork playing much better according to match updates, still, a draw or victory for Pat's will do me

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Hopefully Uefa will see sense and not allow Cork into Europe anyway, rules are rules.

    Bye Bye John McDonnell!
I hope for the sake of football Pete Mahon gets the job, if he got hold of a team like Pats they'd be unstoppable.

Seriously? He had a decent bunch of players at UCD and they couldn't win a game to save their lives. Wasn't he a disaster at Bohs too, signing half the New Zealand team and the like?

I'm torn on whether Cork should get into Europe, I think it's a UEFA directive that bans team from Europe after administration/examinership, so I doubt the FAI can overrule, I have more sympathy for Cork than for Drogheda, but both were guilty of reckless spending regardless of the current situation. If Sligo go into Europe I think they'll do fine, then again they've had money issues too.

Still not spending crazy money like Cork. We've paid our players every week, no pay cuts.

I know that, still not great to have to appeal to fans to save the club the way it was done (even if it does seem to have been a bit of scaremongering).

Pats have five yellow cards and they have tried to assassinate Kearney as well from what i'm hearing.

Good win for Cork.Match down in their place is extremely important now, pretty much have to gain 3 points. If it comes to cork taking 4th spot and the FAI having a choice between us and them i think we all know which way that is going to go.well done cork all the same, should be a great game down in turners cross
