Good goal. Header from Kiely. Fast break from Cork, and fantastic cross from the left wing.

    All over.

    Cork and Glens final.

A huge well done to Cork. After the season they have had and the way they have stuck together is an absolute testament to them.

Congratulations and good luck in the final.

    So much for that.

Well done to Cork. I think they deserved to win if only because the onus was on Derry, as the home side, to take the initiative and we failed to do so despite controlling possession.

SK is a legend but why he thinks it's right to move three players out of position (McGlynn, McCallion, McChrystal) instead of playing just a defender (Aaron Callaghan) is beyond me. McGlynn in his natural right wing role would've made us more dynamic going forward I reckon.

Not a good game but I am not bothered.

If we have it at the Cross could get a big crowd as the new roof at St Annes End will hopefully be finished.

What a cross by Dan Murray!

What's this about Billy Woods not showing up tonight and sending his apologies by text?

Windsor or the Cross, it has to be either. If not then i wont be going.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

No-one seems to have a clue where the final is going to be played

In the interest of fairness it has to be Dublin - preferably the RDS. Would be a great day out for two big clubs from two big cities... in one NEUTRAL big city!

And plus I live there now

How much do you hate Dublin?

    Should be a good final.

    Gotta be the X!

The Final to date has been in Dublin or Belfast.Ironically when it was in Tolka, Shels lost to the Blues,Linfield in turn lost at Windsor to Drogs.Glens should have no fears coming to Cork, the only guarantees would be a packed house, great atmosphere and genuine welcome to one of the big two.

I thought while they defended well, Cork didn't show much going forward. But then given the season they've had, how much they had riding on the match, and the fact that we were at home, it was perfectly understandable for them to play it tight and defensive. And they did it well. I'm gutted; it'll be a long time before we get a better chance to win the SC (a home semi, and a possible home final), we seem to have lost our way in recent weeks bar the Linfield result. We were bereft of ideas and could be play until Friday without scoring. Well done Cork, you deserved it in the end, roll on Galway the weekend after next.

What date's the final? Hopefully just before we play Cork in Turners Cross, pick up a few injuries

We were not very expansive as we have lost a lot of attacking players & Behan was injured. Then again our centre back broke up the left wing to set up the goal so don't think we sat back.

The guaranteed extra 60k + gate receipts & potential for another 70k prize money will be very welcome just before visit to the High Court on Friday.
