Not so much humble pie (though the team were pretty much humbled), just telling it like it is. As Tis-smeee said being turned over is something I half expected (and wasn't the only one of our lot), though obviously not to that extent!

Great game and proof that we have the best footballing side in the division, and possibly/probably the best manager. Other good news this week was the Trap dinner which made many many yo yos and keeps us afloat for a while at least. It was the best function ever put on by a limerick footballing side and all credit has to go to the CEO for that. Nice to see our main sponsor LIVE95 cover the bore all draw rugby game in Thomond, but other good news came when Aidin Corr of the limerick leader retired

As for the wexford thing, a whitewash if ever there was one and no we will not pay the �1000 as it will be appealed. The three points? **** um we're well capable of gaining 10/12 points out of the remaining 12 points available.

I didn't make the game in the end but from what I heard and read, and in particular talking to one of the players today, Limerick were simply outstanding last night, and were almost unstoppable going forward. Waterford simply weren't at the races in comparison, and even Cronin said afterwards that the penalty was very soft, it should have been 5-0. Limerick can only be applauded for the way they played and the way they took us apart.
How's that?

no wonder leo got banned with comments like these.we WERE brilliant v waterford and v fingal,just as we were toothless v mons before that as we were in quite a few other games throughout the season.our possibly,probably best manager has admirably turned it around with 2 signings sheehan and tierney but was also the same manager who failed to fulfill a fixture and signed the likes of cosgrave,mcarthy,curtin,etc.the 3 points,well if we were in the top 4 or the bottom 3 MK would not have put the players on that bus.

I even overheard one saying he wishes that the club was underperforming, up to its eyes in debt and at the behest of a lunatic like Drew again just so he could be half as negative as you. I, like you, hope he gets his wish.

Heard the weekend that there was a bit of a scuffle amongst the lim and waterford players after the match fri night, any truth in it?and if so was it just all handbags?

Everyone on here knows I'm no fan of the silent one. I can only speak for myself when I say: I'm absolutely flabbergasted at how anyone can turn a thread dealing with a 5-1 defeat of promotion hopefuls into something quite so negative. That's all. I, like the rest of us, am apprehensive about us keeping the squad together for next year (because every summer for the last 3 a takeover/collapse has loomed) and maintaining our current form next season. Nonetheless, the performances of late are to be lauded as is the unlikely accomplishment of keeping our books in order.

It's simply really, we change our expression from this

for the remainder of the year and enjoy being in a stable position for once.

in fairness to the guy curtin, grant etc were promoted to the senior squad as they excelled in the under 21s last year, his budget was small so id say he was grateful for these players to make up a squad. Dont think cosgrove would have been signed by many a fan, not this year or last. ill ignore your continuous "comments" on my person and my sexuality which you throw in most of your posts. You obviously dont know me so ill just assume your just doing it for fun
