    Angry Absolute Disgrace

I really hope john gill and his players look at these threads...but my god....ye are a bloody disgrace..2 defeats in 7 days and were distroyed by 2 of the bottom four...it really should be us distroying those type of teams, by at least 3 or 4 goals. Several players seen happy to be showing up at oriel an picking up their undeserved wages, me would think!

Could somebody please fill me in on their views of this shambollic situation???

Who would have thought a team managed by John Gill would bottle it ??

Your style of play has been awful for some time anyway. Even when you beat Shels in Oriel three weeks back you did it by playing on the break and defending with 10 men behind the ball. You deserved the win on the night as we made some crazy mistakes at the back but apart from that you didn't do much else.

We seem to be able to get ourselves up for the big games but then completely lose interest against some of the so called lesser clubs.. It's totally frustrating to see. If the players cannot get motivated to win a game when you are top of the table with six games to go then I don't know when they can get motivated!

Are you as defensive against the bottom teams as you are against the top ?
You seem to play on the break more and more ??

I wouldn't say we're setting out to be defensive against the bottom teams but we aren't really going for teams like we did earlier in the season. We were attacking teams from the off early in the season and notching up big wins. Now we seem content to adopt a 'wait and see' policy.. It seems to me that the team are more fearful now but I don't think they are being instructed to be more defensive.

When we do have the ball, we mess about and don't attack like we used to. The players look nervous and inevitably we go behind due to mistakes or a lack of closing down. When we do need to get goals, we resort to launching the ball to our strikers. They are crazy tactics when you have small forwards like Baker and Mulvenna.

David Cassidy was instrumental earlier in the season with all our play going through him in the centre of the field but now our midfield is being almost totally bypassed with 90% of our 'attacks' starting off with a hoof forward from Crawley..

If I replaced a few players names that post could be about Shels !

However last night we did play more and more on the deck and passed our way to a win.

    We look nervous too!
We've gone to 4-5-1 in the last two games..

Now that you're off the top you might see a different approach.

We were confident and cruising until shortly after we scored last night. We go top of the league, nerves come in and the last 20mins were totally different.
