Perhaps! But why do scoreboards at live games stop at 45 mins and 90 mins on the button. Wouldn't it not be more useful for everyone if they continued into stoppage time?
I know they're not allowed to count past 45 mins by Fifa guidelines. I believe the 'reasoning' behind it is to stop players etc pressuring the ref "you said three minute injury time, but you've already played 3:28!"
