The Kerry Oscer trainor team were playing Cork AUL yesterday, so the rest of those FAI games were probably all postponed until next week

    Shannonside v Tralee Dys
    Bridge Celtic v St.Brendans Park
    Kilrush Rangers v Lisselton
    Askeaton v Listowel Celtic

Kerry District League messed up again (whats new). Didnt play FAI fixtures due to game against Cork AUL (which didnt go ahead) so its on this week instead...no games again this week!

Interesting draw for us...Shannonside away is a tough one!

I presume they'll play those remaining 3rd Rnd games next weekend along with whatever 4th Rnd games can be played.
Yea Shannonside will be tough away but I would still expect Dynamo's to win there, should be too strong for them.
If ye get past them though, ye'll have an a tough 4th Rnd game against Newcastle West. Won the desmond league last year and have a 100% league record so far this season. It will be a good game, home advantage might just give Dynamo's the edge

shannonside will be much tougher than people think . remember the are a new club who now have the pick of two old clubs with a lot of quality . i fancy an upset in this one . in saying that dynamos have a lot of experience in the bigger competion's .

i play for newcastle west afc and i think shannonside are a good team and could cause an upset against tralee dynamos...they are going well in the 1st divison in there 1st time together...we are playing the winners off shannonside and tralee in the next round away so hopefully shannonside will win cos we beat them pre season 5-2...tralee dynamos are a wicked team tho...

    Tralee through

    Shannonside 0 - Tralee Dynamos 2

Good game and in atrocious conditions, Shannonside have some quality players and play some attractive football, although it was a comfortable enough win in the end for us to be fair.

Next round tie against Newcastle West should be a good game of football...

Classic FC won away as well, dont know the score however...

dynamos vs newcastle west lookes be 1 of the ties of the round, dynamos with home advantage should shade it, but will need to keep a clean sheet. lisselton vs the park will be interesting as park have beat them in league already, but i think lisselton are more focused to win this 1 especially after going out of the MJC so early. good to see classic fc a team only formed last year making it this far, but i think their journey will end against newcastle west rvs. as for killarney athletic thet are a solid team but made struggle away from home.

the dynamoes v ncw def will be good game this weekend, game of the round.only saw dynamoes once v shannonside and are v good team,if i had to id nearly fancy ncw to take em in a tight game, maybe 1-0 or 2-1. all depends who gets first goal but ncw v good up front. rathkeale also playing ballingarry and will be tight too, ncw rovers v classic could go to classic, rovers have few players but few too many weak spots- as for locally (desmond league) the premier seems wrapped up even at this early stage with no one able to keep pace with ncw,and hopefully shannonside can continue top of first for rest of season!

would be bottom half of the table..have got some good results of late ,last weekend they beat carew park away, which is no mean feat.
will be well organised and fit,as they are out of town in both comps. so i'd say the turnouts for training are pretty good.if ye are playing them away then the pitch is good enough but tight...have a few good players, barry ryan in particular who can pick open defences at his ease, but time has caught up with him as regards stamina etc.
they will be dogged and will keep going to the end..

who are you involved with el tel...are ye at home or away to granville.
if away you may be better off to request that one of the granville lads meet ye at a well known focal point in the city...their pitch will be extremely hard to find otherwise

The league table tells it all, both teams well off the pace in the desmond league, hard to pick a winner from this one, it will all depend who wants it more on the day, both have being blowing hot & cold all season. Its a local derby between both teams, Ballingarry are favourites mainly because they have home advantage, it will be a very close game I'd say.

Saying this I would expect Castlebar Celtic to be much stronger than both.

    Team GP W D L Pts.
    Glin Rovers 8 6 1 1 19
    Newcastle West 6 6 0 0 18
    Abbeyfeale Utd 8 4 3 1 15
    Rathkeale 8 4 2 2 14
    Carrig Celtic 8 2 2 4 8
    Newcastle Rovers 4 2 0 2 6
    Killeaney 5 1 1 3 4
    Ballingarry 4 1 0 3 3
    Broadford Utd 7 0 3 4 3
    Old Mill 8 1 0 7 3

    Great year for Kerry teams...

    ROUND 4 CLARE-DESMOND-KERRY

    1 Classic F.C
    2 Rathkeale
    3 Tralee Dynamos
    4 Lisselton v St.Brendans Park
    5 Killarney Ath

Correct me if im wrong but are these the teams that are left into round 5.

4 out of 5 teams that go through are from Kerry, has to be testimony to the fact that the Kerry league is getting stronger!
