In fairness, I don't think ANYONE could have legislated for two upset results like those. It WAS a very predictable World Cup until the knockout stages, suddenly everything's gone haywire. I'd love to say that Australia will win it at this stage, and the heart says they will, but, the head says England have peaked at just the right time and will annoy us all with their talk of winning it for the rest of time (a la 1966).
As for City. No, Conor, we WON'T make Europe, Dolan will be hounded out of his job, and City will be relegated next season! Happy now??

i tell ya its unbeleivable the moaning and small mindedness of some city fans!

John: Pat Dolan is doing a good job in building a young and exciting city side.. we a`re only going to get better and better..
there is NO way we will get relegated next year and i dont think the club need ppl that are going to think as negitavily as you do..

Sheesh, James, are you SO blind that you missed the smilies on my post?? I KNOW Dolan's doing a good job. In fact, he's doing a FANTASTIC job and things will only get better. If you had bothered to read Conors post re:my predictions for the World Cup semis, you would have seen that I was jokingly trying NOT to put the kiss of death on City's European hopes.

Haven't a clue what you're on but, it must be seriously powerful stuff. A lot of the 'negativity' is plain fact, myself and a whole load more would say I'm one of the "real fans" - my attendance and vocality on match nights bears this out. But, enough of the trivialities.

How about double or quits on Munster winning the Heineken Cup, Sean? Bit longer to wait, I know, but, there IS the chance of 4 pints.

Btw, we'd better prepare for the English winning the World Cup at this point, as the more I look at things, IMO England will blow the Aussies away. Hope I'm wrong, REALLY wrong though.
