at least it is OUR field put there by the hard work of many good boro men over the last 4 decades...NOT a Handout..you werent complaining when you had to use it for 3 seasons and the only thing you ever did to the fields was to bury bud bottles into it ...i have good time for the guys who try to run carew but some of the dim wits who post on here wouldnt know if the ball was pumped or stuffed. what are you going to do when you have a big match and peckam spring is flooded???? some people have very short memories but I dont..
sick of narcissists.....
Leather i dont often agree with you but your post was 100% right,but i blame the boro for letting carew pk use yer pitch,carew never had the use of our pitch no way would it happen,i wonder how many carew park players or committee were shouting you on against clonmel i would say none.
Any predictions for Kilmallock v Regional
[quote=Balbec77;1142199]I will go with a 2 ,1 to us[/quote
kilmallock 1 regional 3
Leather just to clarify somethings for you.. We did not get hand outs for our feild. We received the money from the NRA for them Buying the old feild for the new road.. You should know what it takes to run a club and some people worked long and hard over the last few years to get Carew park a home Ground. I didn't see Boro complaining when they were getting a nice cheque for the use of there second pitch. Yes I do agree with you we have had some issues with the drainage but it is a new field and all issues are been resolved.. Jackamn was hired around the time of the problem with the Drainage but Leather Boro have a short memory as ye also checked out the price to hire Jackman for the FAI if the Boro was unplayable.... All I can say is Carew would be more than Happy to help out any Limerick Team who needed the Pitch for a Game not like some people on this site who love to see clubs struggle..We can't all have the luxury of a Bar to help fund a club......
Kilmallock beat Regional 2-1. Ray Lynch put Regional ahead after 15 mins. Kilmallock were on top for most of the first half and were unlucky not to get on level terms before the break when Conor Moloney hit the cross bar with a great header. Then two goals in 2 mins in the second half put Kilmallock ahead first by Mark Heffernan and then a super lob by Tommy Heffernan. Great win for Kilmallock and well deserved.
