i think your catching yourself up there.."because corbally would have some squad"..i thought your were advocating players leaving if they were good enough and,as you put it,warming benches...anyway lads can we talk about the weekend fixtures,we could be talking about this til the cows(or the players!!) come home
big game at bottom the weekend kilmallock and corbally both teams need the 3 points
Did any one hear if any of the boro lads have transfered lads.
lads the boro granville match should be lively sunday both sides need points and the 2 managers meeting up again
Granville
No idea about any players comming in or going out...sorry... I would expect boro players to be up for all matches...and i would expect the same of all premier players for all clubs
bobby gregg is gone to pike anybody else hear this
dared, from a corbally point of view it must be annoying to see 8 or 9 ex players playing with other premier teams.i believe that ye would be up towards the top of the league were these players playing with ye.in saying that though i believe that there are afew reasons why they left and dont want to come back.
1-there are certain individuals in corbally who would love to see them do bad.only afew lads pulling in the right direction.alot of would be "supporters" would only love to see them lose.
2- even though i dont agree with them i know there are many lads who dont want the current management team doing the job, even though imo they are the best by a long shot of anybody who has been involved with the team over the laswt number of years.
3-dont know what its like now but do know and have read it on this site before that corballys training has been crap over the last few years with very poor numbers in attendance.what are the numbers like now?
4-even though yer squad has afew promising young players i feel there is 5 or 6 lads who are dragging ye down and who arent one bit professional.until corbally get rid of these players they wont finish top 4 or 5.thats my opinion anyway.
5-corbally have a history of not looking after there players when they get injured.i know at least 5 lads who have been left out of pocket bigtime over the last 4-5 seasons.until the club sort this out and get lads insured properly ye will find it hard to attract players.
corbally should be looking at the strides that regional and aisling(who by the way played with corbally in 1a afew years back)have been making.they are not doing anything spectacular but are solidly building bit by bit over the last 2or3 seasons.corbally need to start doing the same and need to get rid of alot of the fools who are dragging them down.
best of luck for the season dared.hope things work out well for ye and hope ye get the support ye deserve from those within and supporters of the club.i personally cant see it happening though except from only 1 or 2. too many me feiners in the club.cant see corbally ever all pulling in the one direction.best of luck anyway. ps wouldnt mind hearing your opinion on my comments dared, would you agree with me?i feel they are valid points.
