will do...boro started well but with in 6 or 7 minutes were 1 down great finish from john boyle from about 8 yards..poor goal for us to conceed..a few minutes later smakers pulled off a great save to keep the score at 1 nill..pike came into it after that with a few half chances but boro got a lucky goal from Mark keane with the help of a deflection..pike had a great chance to go in at the half 2-1 when wayne o donavans shot was well blocked by dom fitz...Second half wasnt great pike had about 7 corners but never looked like scoring..boro had a great chance when danny hanley put in a great cross but shane clarkes header was very well bloked by pa magary..pikes had a chance near the end but moloneys shot was well saved by glash..As i said i thought the draw was a fare result![]()
............. egg shells.............
on a sidenote hope Tom Clarke makes a quick recovery, went to hospital with a suspected broken ankle good news is that its badly sprained
that is good news,he was having an excellent game.
next thursday will be interesting,Kilmallock playing Dromore and Granville playing Corbally
Corbally had a good few chances in the first half as well so be realistic, six nil is well off the mark!!! carew took the lead after another goalkeeper error from the corbally keeper, good finish for the 2nd goal, 2nd half was poor to be fair but carew were full value for the win, well deserved, that should see them safe now
on a sidenote, fantastic facilities carew have up there, well impressed!!
Yea big games next thursday night and a big game sunady aswell between Dromore and Granville. Kilmallock starting to scrape out the results they need to stay up at the right time, great result against granville last night and went 10 mins left in dat game you would never have called a kilmallock win. However with a home game against Dromore next thursday a win is a must and some of the players that have been called up from the B team to support the A team in recent weeks wont be available as the B team are playing at the same time and only two wins away from winning there own league. How two Junior teams from the 1 club can be playing at the same time baffles me.
