    Summerville 3 Castle 0
    Kilfinane 2 Abbey 0
In fairness though they'd two very good players... Their centre back had pace to burn, i seen him doin loads of sit ups before the game - mad thing! And their striker - the tall muscly fella was huunnrrrreal!!

Remember at one stage when the left back burst the ball wit his pointy nose??

whats the story with st pats. we were supposed to play them this morning but they were a no show. bit unfair as lads stayed home last night so as to be some bit right for this morning. we are all only playing soccer for the sport of it each sunday morning but when a team cant even be bothered to show up it is a real **** off. . anyway any other results today.

    Summerville won 5 ---- 0 v castle rvs.
Castle are a strong "physical" side, and I'de say they can put themselves
about. but Summerville had a training session last night after the rugby and
    before the boxing.

I know someone playing with them and i'm 99.9% sure he was not training saturday night after the ireland match and plenty of players from that team where out celebrating saturday night so i don't think they had any training session.

You should know that the summerville management team are a very strict group and would ensure that no player including themselves would ever dream of going to the pub and then on to a nightclub and then turn up langers to a match we actually met at 8:45 for a light session and had a pre game breakfast before kick off

did the ref turn up? did ye get a walk-over? st. pats are really struggling. it wouldn't surprise me if they were pulled out. if they fail to field a team again they'll be in big trouble, they're only getting 10 or 11 players turning up for matches

yeah ref turned up, and according to league web site we got the points, dont understand how a club with two teams in the league cant field a first team. anyway things should start to get really interesting now that evening matches are starting next week.

i know a lad on the B team with Pats and he told me the A team is mostly made up of GAA lads and once they start training they have no interest in football,he reckons the B team are better its just some of them won't play with the A's once the hurlers are involved

ya i know barry Foley (limerick senior hurler). he's a fine soccer player too. he said most of the A team play hurling and only play soccer to keep fit before the hurling starts. they should play their B players, otherwise they'll have to pull the A team out

This happens with most the country teams. Thats why its good to play them while the GAA is on early in the season or late in the season, the country teams are usually strong mid season when they have all their GAA players playing.

have to agree here and i think it can be a bit unfair on teams...we played pats the one time they had there full strenght team and we lost 3 points because of it..i say we lost 3 points because every other team are beating or hammering them....as you said if u catch them early or late in the year your sorted...

Ye should beat Aisling handy enough. if ye can keep Derek (striker) up front quiet ye will beat them. He's been called up to the premier team a few times this season, too good for 2A

well they havnt beating us in the last 3 or 4 matches and have had basically the same team!there hasnt been much in our games against em,there a gud enough team, like to play football,i think when we have a full team we would def have a chance of beating em!i think we've improved alot of the last few months only time will tell!

By da way lanky wheres easy easy gone he's been quiet lately, and if i remember right it was our center midfielder who scored against ye and not derek ye didnt keep him 2 quiet in middle

ya probally a bit of a throwback alright, havnt played ye in that bad pitch in a while probally 3 or 4 yrs id say,the sooner the throw up a house in the middle that pitch the better,do you remeber the game that got abandoned last season now that was madness!
