The weather forecast for Saturday looks horrendous. A morning pitch inspection will probably be needed. I'd say the chances of it going ahead are 50/50.
O.k time to move on another massive game in the Rams callender,we have a good record against them so theres no reason Hendo cant put out an attack minded starting 11.A win here would really state we"re not finished yet,id be hoping for a good crowd but its prob weather permitting 1200 would be a massive ask at this stage.
2-1 Rams

Ten Years Not Out
At this stage there have been a number of games called off because of the weather in Cobh and looking out this morning, tonight may add to it. The pitch does hold up well. It may actually be a good thing if it is called off as I cant see to many coming along if the weather stays like this for the rest of the day.
There was one called off against us not long before kick off in, I think, 2002?
The ball is round and has many surprises.
The weather has improved so hopefully it will be ok tonight!!
Hasnt rained since early morn and no rain now the game will go ahead.
RAMS 1-0 ROVERS
Game of few chances tbh Rovers shaded the first half by trying to play ball but the surface caught them out too often,Rams just hoofed to no avail.Second half pretty much the same Kavs coming on as an impact sub he should have had one himself only to be dragged back and a free out was given, stone wall peno great finish-Rovers hitting the corner upright late on but we held on,the battle is hotting up now at the bottom anyones guess for forth bottom...
ATT--500 WITH 60 ROVERS FANS??
Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds.
Kavs turn was pure genius. I will say i t now in my time hes the best player i have seen in a rams shirt. Brilliant, poor performance by the team but great result. What a difference a week makes

Undoubtley some of the best players you've mentioned there, but I suppose we could be here for ever talking about the past and former players. Ramblers actually do extend beyond the 1983 MSL team. As Bella said, he's 21 and referred to the best player he'd seen in a Ramblers shirt. I'm 43 and I've seen some good players too, and funnily enough you're list would have been more or less the same as mine but I'd have included Paul O'Neill, Willis and Eddie O'Halloran in that list.Bella come on seriously kavs is class but the best you've ever seen in a rams shirt! Do roy keane, sniffer, terry kerins, paddy shortt, packie kelly, mellrick, ludzic, paul crowley count for f*** all?
Mellerick....great player. Solid as a rock. Decisive and new what was expected of him and rarely let us down.
Sniffer........simply the best.
Shorty........a gentleman on and off the field. Rock solid player.
Crowley..............totally gifted.
Paul O'Neill.........also gifted. Look at Davin. Like Father like Son. Need I say more.
Wilshaw (Senior).......... hard as nails. Rock solid and actually knew how to pass the ball.
Eddie O'Halloran..............Do I really need to explain about this man. No, but ........'One of Cobh's finest'.
Ludzic........not bad, but never as good as homegrown Paul Keating.
Anyway, the point I'm making here is that we can only really talk about players that we've seen play and I haven't mentiond a few in your list above simply because I was away for 20 years and didn't really see them play except when home on holiday. I mean there's more...... John O' Rourke, Jimmy Kelly, Noddy, Willie Kane, Gerry Dwyer, Bertie O'Donoghue, Pat Meade, Mansie (Oh no.he never played and couldn't I suppose as he's an Evertonian ) 2 nil...2 nil..2 nil...............but I'm sure you get my point and Bella does also have a valid point in what he says about Kavanagh. Since he came onboard he seems to have instilled some bit of fight into the team.

Crap game. Great win.
The double act strikes again. Kavs goes down and Gaynor tucks it away!
It's going down to the last day.
