Help creating playlists on the hateful piece of crap that is the apple ipod

Any advice on how to do this greatly appreciated. And hurry ...herself got it for me and it's about to go under my heel.

There was a thread on Ipods here some time ago but i couldn't find it.
" I wish to God that someone would be able to block out the voices in my head for five minutes, the voices that scream, over and over again: "Why do they come to me to die?"

As far as I recall, you just create your playlist in iTunes (click the big + in the bottom left hand corner, I think), copy the tunes you want into it from your music library window and then, once you synch it with the iPod, you should see the playlist (under Playlists, of course) on your iPod.

Thank you Sheridan. It's clanky as an old radiator -but it works.

You can also do it on the iPod itself, if you're out and about and nowhere near iTunes - IIRC its called an "On the Go" playlist.

Scroll to the song you want to add, then press and hold (for a few seconds) the select button in the centre of the jogwheel. Repeat for every song you want to add.
