    Pitch Side Advertising

Just wondering whats the going rate for Pitch Side advertising or is there one. I'm hearing anything from €50 a year to €300 a year then 1 club who will be looking for a whopping €2000 a year. Any help appreciated just dont want to over price them! and lose out

unless you play at anfield, old trafford etc where this is a premium then take what you can for it. Put the charge of the sign back to the sponsor and get something for displaying it.
Even if you only make a fiver out of it if the sign is decent then it makes your ground look better !!

16x2.5ft diabond sign would cost 550 inc vat to make, charge another 500 a year to your sponsor to keep the sign up.

Anyone hear of the recession? So called "sponsors" have ready made excuses for not paying up,would be a waste of money on there part.

    Cheers for the inputs.

Prob not the best timing to be looking at this economy wise. Mainly wondering what teams have been getting. Prob will end up aiming for €200 approx per annum excluding supply and installation of sign.

You've to think about the costs of getting the sign then mounted which depending on the pitch side barriers costs varying. Saying all that if you manage to get signs up it does make a ground look a hell of alot better.

Fair point that's why i posted here to try not under price or price out of market. The other side is that we've 2 pitches to do and 100 signs between the 2 would bring in a tidy sum at €200 a sign.

Well Pedro, there are easier ways to make 200 quid than signage. The effort of getting it together outweights the gain.

Why not charge the cost of the sign and add on maybe 50-60% That would give you a tidy profit. Give the sponsor a 2 year guarantee that it will stay up. They get a good deal if your club is proforming well.

Reduce the rates if your in a position that you have underage pitchs that you want to do. As the level of exposure, depending on how good your side is, is significantly less.

Depending on how quick you need the cash you could debit the sponsor over the two year period???

I've no experience in this but it may work?
