Feyenoord were the away team hence the 0-3 scoreline.
Therefore they won by 3 goals to 0.

D'oh!

I saw Ajax beating Inter Milan in the Amsterdam tournament Loner, and I have to say that Feyenoord will have to play well to win the league as Ajax looked the business.

Good luck anyway.

We don't really want to win the league, we've got a bigger problem right now. Because of recent succes (UEFA Cup) we've got a lot of gloryhunters in Stadium De Kuip. They leave early, they whistle if the result is not good (something not done for Feyenoorders, we support our team 'till the end) and worst of all the gloryhunters don't sing and don't stand up but tell you to sit if you stand up and yell.
A lot of Feyenoord supporters are hoping for an oldschool crisis to get rid of the gloryhunters and refind the real Feyenoord feeling that brought us al together in the bad years...(late 70 and 80-ies).
Commerce is taking over...we want the old Feyenoord back.

By the way, I found another picture of the Cork City Shirt live at Feyenoord:

@Troy.McClure: you did what? I was talking to a City fan during my visit at Turners Cross (Cup-tie against shellbourne) and we agreed on one thing we both hate the arrogance of the capitol.
I really understood the feeling that night. Passionate game and going home empty handed and beeing cheered at by a few arrogant away supporters...oh the pian... We've had a lot of bad losses against ajax and Dutch media keep on focussing on amsterdam so the hatred is big in Rotterdam.

To be honest Loner, Im fairly passive about who wins the Dutch league, but to see Steven Gerard being sent off in Amsterdam was priceless
Interesting that Jerzy Dudek wasn't played by Liverpool against Galatassray. The jeers when his name was called out were defening, one guy even got thrown out because he just kept shouting insults about him for the whole match.
Also I got to see Marco Van Bastan - Ledgend (for Holand & Milan anyway )

To bad about tonight...
Tomorrow on a local non league game in Holland (V.V.O.R. Rotterdam 2nd class) there will be someone wearing the City jersey...

@Pete: that's what most stadiums in Holland look like for away support. Either you are behind fences or behind nets (right word?) but you see less than other people in the ground and pay alot more!
@Conor74: us playing 'the scum' was never on the agenda for oktober. When you visit the infamous amsterdam arena you will learn that it has nothing to do with a football stadium. ajax hardcore supporters will agree with that. I can't blame a foreigner for visiting 'scum' but when you visit an (oldschool) game at De Kuip you will know the difference. I must admit (as mentioned before) that the atmosphere in De Kuip is getting worse each week due to gloryhunters and hardcore supporters getting ****ed off by the commerce crap like sms-ing man of the match and the bad support by the gloryhunters... Where ajax gets the best credits for 'art-football' we get it for working and used to get it for support!

I've been to:
Den Haag
NAC Breda
Ajax ArenA
Groningen
Utrecht
RKC Waalwijk
even went to see Barcelona play WHC Wezep (FT 0-14)
But I was really impressed with Nec Nijmegen
Their ground is like what I'd love to see in the League of Ireland.
The capacity is given at 12,500
I think Cork City FC could sustain that size of a ground.

Some pictures Here and here

I've worn Cork City FC shirts to a few of those grounds and have had people offer to buy it off my back. Suppose the Guinness was what attracted them but I also had people stop me in the street in Amsterdam and ask me about the City shirt.

I agree Loner. I watch Eurogoals every Monday night and I have to say Feyenoord were absolutely pathetic in their home game against PSV. IMO, van Marwijk (did I spell it right) needs at least 2 central defenders and a central midfielder before Feyenoord will resemble anything like a serious team.
Munster 33-6 Gloucester
Aint revenge sweet?!
