started checking this thread a few weeks ago - yet to start placing money on them but man, im very impressed. Fair play.
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.

    Portsmouth -V- Villa

Backing the away side in this one as they have been firing the wins in on their travels in the league. Portsmouth have lost their last 2 home games by 3 goals (0-3 and 1-4). Hopefully Villa can nick a few in what could be Adams' last game in charge for the home side.

Great stuff indeed. Best example ever of a snatch and grab win away from home. What was the possession in the end, something like 70-30?!

Over 2.5 goals in the Everton - Liverpool game @ 2.54 - simply way too big for me to ignore.

In the past 2 seasons there have been over 20 goals in this derby. Hoping for plenty of the same today.

    Blackburn Rovers -V- Coventry City

Hoping for an upset here. These two sides met last year in the cup, a game in which Coventry ran out 4-1 winners. However, there have been plenty of changes since then. Though, in saying that, this punter won't be complaining with a repeat of that result . With Blackburn in danger of losing their Premiership status Big Sam has already hinted that he may rest a few of his bigger players. While Blackburn have been having a **** season they have have being doing well under the guidance of their new manager, losing just once in ten games. Lately, Coventry have found themselves in a rich vein of form losing just twice in their last ten games. This may end up being an easy one for Rovers but with the prospect of them leaving out a couple of star players, coventry could sneak it and are worth a bet.

Backing Coventry @ 5/1 (both Boyles and Skybet). 100 pts

    Also going with:

    Watford -V- Chelsea

So far Chelsea have played two lower league sides in this seasons Cup campaign. In all three games (they played Southend twice and Ipswich once) they have conceded a goal. "Chelsea captain John Terry is suspended and fellow defender Ricardo Carvalho (hamstring) is also missing. Michael Essien is back in training but not close to playing yet". With 3 great defensive players missing I'm hoping Watford can nick a goal.

Backing Watford to score 1 goal or more @ 5/6 (Powers)

    Burnley -V- Wolves

Hoping for plenty of goals in this one. In Wolves last 3 games there have been 13 goals. While in Burnley's last 3 games there have been 9 goals. Let's hope there is plenty of attacking from both sides.

    Backing Over 2.5 goals @ 8/11 (Powers)

Not doing singles on the latter two, just a small treble on all three selections.

    20 pts treble

Missed your recomendation but laid Blackburn on Betfair @ 1/4 when they went 1-0 up so made a nice profit

Grrr Rovers equalise in the 93rd minute. Finished 2-2. No complaints though, Coventry didn't deserve the winner imo.

Time to get back to winning ways tonight. This could be a tricky affair but should be a game with plenty of goals. During the group games both sides witnessed plenty of goals:

    23/10 Aston Villa 2 - 1 Ajax
    06/11 Slavia Praha 0 - 1 Aston Villa
    04/12 Aston Villa 1 - 2 Žilina
    17/12 Hamburg 3 - 1 Aston Villa

    23/10 CSKA Moskva 3 - 0 Deportivo
    06/11 Feyenoord 1 - 3 CSKA Moskva
    27/11 CSKA Moskva 2 - 1 Lech
    04/12 Nancy 3 - 4 CSKA Moskva

Out of the 8 games only 1 failed to reach 2.5 goals, hopefully we see goals tonight. 2.18 looks good to me and will result in a max bet.

I have a sneaky feeling the Russians may walk away with a win here. Although they haven't played competitively since 4th December they will be well up for this one and should be able to break the Villa defence. CSKA have scored in each of their last 6 away games in European fixtures. Their top hitman, Vagner Love has managed a whopping 8 goals in 4 matches in this season's competition. While the Russians will be a tad rusty they will be quite fresh. On the otherhand Villa have a huge game at the weekend against Chelsea and this season is starting to take its toll on O'Neill's men. 4.1 for the away win is juicy.

    Backing over 2.5 goals @ 2.18 (Betfair) - 400 pts
    Backing CSKA Moscow @ 4.1 (Betfair) - 18.12 pts

    Here's hoping for a 2-1 away win.
