Fahey subbed off right on the 83 minute mark. I've never been that impressed with him but I must say he had a great game today.
Almost scored Birmingham's second there. Could have been a cracker!

Fahey was very good, Carr was immense. Very pleased for both of them.
Must be the first time an Irishman has won a major football medal outside of Ireland for a while.
Unless you know different.........
Delighted for both of em. So glad that the Brum won. The media **** fest over how great this Arsenal team really is was starting to get on my nerves. The guardian thought Arsenal just had to turn up and the trophy was theirs.
"If God had meant football to be played in the air, he'd have put grass in the sky." Brian Clough.
You'll NEVER beat the Irish.......you'll just draw with us instead!!!
How many times did they mention the fact that Stephen Carr had "retired to Ireland"?
I'm an Arsenal fan and couldn't believe the media coverage. They can be a fantastic team sometimes but they have a soft core and can be got at. They have thrown away winnining positions against Newcastle, Spurs, Sunderland, Wigan, Shaktar and a few others this year. That's not the hallmark of winners and the media should have copped on to that. They have a habit of not winning games that they have controlled. Man City at home is a great example.
Brum put it well up to them today and got what they deserved for their first half performance. Well done Keith. I have no great regard for Carr. He could easily still be playing for Ireland.

Delighted for Fahey, very unlucky not to score.
SHOCKER -The BBC commentator actually pronounced his name right!!!
Arsenal without Fabregas and Van P are very average.
I only realised now that it was Barry Ferguson who patted Koscielny on the head celebrating the winning goal. What a tw at. I don't expect footballers to be saints but sometimes the lack of basic sportsmanship you see is unbelievable. From a toe rag such as Ferguson though, it's no surprise.
To put it in context, Birmingham were upset that in the first half Koscielny had gone over the top of the ball and almost cut off Lee Bowyer's ankle (though I think he actually missed him completely).
i love that most people, especially CR, have come round to rating Fahey now. Excellent.
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.

Keith Fahey is one of the worst players I've ever seen.
