There is an excellent article in the sports part of the Independent today in relation to Eircom league teams fulfilling certain criteria to comply with uEFA's Licence....The FAI in their wisdom asked for our league to be the first to have to implement them.....If the criteria is not fulfilled it wil lead to Expulsion from the league. The criteria relates to a sound financial state, seats in a ground covered, toilet facilities, debts, monies owed for transfers, etc...
It looks like there will be very few clubs (about 4) left in the league..at least rovers will be gone

Reading that, Id say that City should be fairly safe, although they are probably leaving it a bit late with some stuff, but Lenox did say a few weeks ago that City were going to put in some more toilets and upgrade the floodlights didnt he? I'd only wonder about the size of the pitch as its probably one of the smaller ones around, although it seems bigger than Tolka.
As I say, we're just young & a bit nieve.
city have close to a min size pitch..that would be our biggest worry
