    "The History of Dundalk FC"

"The History of Dundalk F.C." by Jim Murphy is the definitive history of one of Ireland's most famous Association Football Clubs.

Being printed this November by Dundalgan Press, the book contains over 400 pages, including more than 200 photographs, a comprehensive statistics section and a season-by-season account from 1919 onwards. In addition, the book traces the origins and development of Association Football in Dundalk from the early 1890's.

This definitive look at the rich history of one of Ireland's most successful clubs is the result of over 4 years of research. The book will retail at €25, and can be ordered on from www.historyofdundalkfc.com

The book is a must read for any true League of Ireland supporter.

Looks like an excellent production - fair play to Jim Murphy!
I hope it's well supported, and not just in Dundalk.

Absolutely best of luck with it. I'll be buying one anyway.

Hope it has a good account of the battle for the title in 1980 - ah happy memories.

    Fair Play to Jim

Fair Play to you Jim. I suppose somebody had to do it. Best of luck with your book - I'm sure it'll be a best seller.
