    Sammon scores twice

Against Aberdeen last night. "He was a real handful", said the Killie manager. Where have I heard that before?!

I told you that, years ago.

Their fans have been very impressed by him. Best player on the pitch apparantly until he went off injured at half time (only a minor knock).

You're probably mixing them up with away fans.

Scored again at the weekend, away against Caley Thistle. Seems he still does Cup games and rubbish teams in the league.

Maybe you should stop being ignorant and read their forum...

    I think Harpo's response wins.

But you probably don't get it.

Damn it, I was going to delete all this nonsense but now I can't because I want to nominate Harpo's post for POTM.
We're not arrogant, we're just better.

Yes, Harpo wins the thread, if not POTM.

Ronan, Kevin was clearly joking. Don't be so quick off the mark to call other people ignorant. You might wind up looking stupid and, ironically, ignorant.

Fun fact: I went to wickedepedia to look up Sammo's stats at his new club (they're not up yet), and found this:
Sammon escaped injury in his last game for Derry City when he narrowly avoided the jaws of a hungry grizzly bear whilst he made his way up stream to mate.
For Ronan's sake, the above was probably written as a joke.

I now await Harpo's critique of this joke.

I removed it. I don't know who put it there.

Hmm. Sounds like your style. May adjust it for STIG.
