    No Yellow Cards.

In the first 2 games we did not pick up one yellow card which is pretty remarkable from 2 away matches and esp as we would have a reputation for playing physical football.

This could be huge, especially when you look at the way the matches are scheduled:

    Georgia 1 - 2 Ireland
    Montenegro 0 - 0 Ireland
    Ireland v Cyprus
    Ireland v Georgia
    Ireland v Bulgaria
    Italy v Ireland
    Bulgaria v Ireland
    Cyprus v Ireland
    Ireland v Italy
    Ireland v Montenegro

I am 100% positive that Dunne got carded. I'm pretty sure Whelan picked one up as well.

Perhaps I'm losing it, but I remember thinking "oh ****" when Dunne got a card.

EDIT: I read some match reports, and it seems that I am indeed losing it!

    stephen reid

....is usually good for a yellow, as the european refs dont like his crunching tackles.

am counting down the days to the cyprus game. i really hope we do them over. Cyprus away for me is the crucial game of the campaign. win there, and we'll qualify i reckon. cant see the bulgarians beating us at home.

    well, heres hoping.
