Another problem...Recently bought a new Modem Router and since then, can't log into MSN. It says it may be a firewall but I've switched windows firewall off and still can't access it. Also added it as an exception to the firewall and still no luck. Could it be a problem with the router?

Routers usually have embedded firewalls. Log into it and take a look around, or post the model number so people can find the manual.
Belkin G+ Mimo. I've no idea how to change a firewall on it though.

Well, start by opening the manual and checking the index for info on firewalling. If you don't have a manual, click on Product Support on the page you linked to and download the relevant one.

Looked at the manual(page 52) and the info on firewalls is there but it doesn't tell me how to switch it off. I even put in the CD to see if I can do it there but there's no option there.

The interface is loaded in your browser, not from the CD. RTFM.

Like I said, Read The F*cking Manual. It's all in there.
Start -> Run -> Type 'cmd' and click ok
Type in ipconfig and hit return, to find out the ip address of your gateway (the router normally)
Open a browser window and type in the ip address and that should allow you to interface with the browser. You can turn off the firewall in there, you might need to go to the advanced section (should be on the menu)

Ok, I thought I had it working but what happens now is, I can change the settings in the Belkin to disable firewall and NAT and save it and then it says it's rebooting the router to apply changes but after it does that it loses the internet connection to 'local only' instead of 'local and internet' which means I can't use the internet. If I restart the laptop and go back to the Belkin, it says the Firewall and NAT are enabled again and I have to go to 'Setup Wizard' within the router to get the connection back again, which means I'm back to where I started.
I also can't play my PS3 online since getting the new modem/router, I assume that's due to the firewall too. I did an internet connection test on the PS3 and it picks up the Belkin saying it's at 75% signal strength but it can never actually pass the Playstation Network part of the test.
I've emailed Belkin tech support but hoping someone here might be able to help in the meantime.

Try resetting the router and then apply the settings again. The reset button should be around the back of it. Make sure you dont send it back to factory settings by pressing on the reset for too long.
That didn't work but got it sorted now by Belkin tech support. Needed a firmware update and to add a port for MSN and my PS3 into the router.
