I'd imagine the Pool winners would benefit from a home tie at that stage. After that it's probably open draw semis and then which teams contest the final.

Dates are supposed to be:

WEEKEND SUNDAY, 18th JANUARY 2009 � SEMI-FINALS

Bad result for us Sunday. That's it now, our game against Kilkenny has been brought forward to next Sunday, and I think they're trying to get the last match v Limerick for the following weekend to get finished before Christmas, makes sense for anyone not left in it I suppose.

Very even 1st half but Wexford took control in the 2nd. L37 have a handy little keeper. He kept them in it

Limericks last game (yep) is away to Cobh on Wednesday night. Irrispective of number of games played, i think a lot of clubs have been offered a chance to finish up asap

I think it only the clubs who cannot get out of group our last two games have been set for Dec 28 (away to Cork) and Jan 4 (away to Carlow)

Cobh 2 Limerick 2. Scorers for the super blues were an own goal and a Derek Daly penalty. Heard Brian Collopy had a bad injury, any update on this?

still need to get at least a point against Carlow next Sunday which will be difficult enough as Carlow looked a good team when then played in Wexford and dependent on their result yesterday (I can't find it) Carlow can still get out of the group

FC Carlow : Cobh ramblers was Off.

Going by the above group. A four goal win for Carlow against Cobh will mean the winner of the Carlow : Wexford tie will qualify.
Cork still play Kilkenny away.

Presume there'll be some move to get Carlow's extra game played before the last series takes place?

Wexford have to go to Carlow for their last game.
Cork have Kilkenny away.
And Carlow must replay Cobh (at Coleman's I make it?), presumably before these last matches.

I realise a Carlow - Cobh 3-0 result was posted back in September.
But Aertel had today's postponed match down for Tullow. So I'm thinking it's a home venue for FC Carlow.

But the match should be played, whether before or after the Wexford game, I don't know.
